.Net Framework Error?

The Roveel Connector must be installed on the same computer where your Sage data is stored, whether it's a server or your workstation.

Installing on a computer? For installation on a workstation, ensure your system runs Windows 8.1 or later.

Installing on a server? For installation on a server, ensure your system operates on Windows Server 2008 R2 or later, and also has .NET Framework 4.8 or later installed. Please note .NET Framework 4.8.1 is only supported on Server OS 2022 or later.

Do you need to update your server to .NET framework 4.8? - If the connector installation on your server has prompted an error message requiring .NET Framework 4.8, please follow the instructions below.

Step 1: Uninstall the Roveel Connector

To proceed with the update, we need to uninstall the connector from the system. Follow these steps:

1. Open the "Add or remove programs" program in Windows by searching for it in the Start Menu.
2. Search for 'connector' and locate the Roveel Connector.
3. Click 'Uninstall' and follow the instructions provided by the Uninstaller to remove the connector from the old machine.

Step 2: Install .NET Framework 4.8 

Download the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 offline installer package

Please note that this installation may require restarting your server.

Step 3: Reinstall the Roveel Connector  

After completing the installation and restarting the server, proceed to reinstall the Roveel Connector. Follow the setup process as you did previously: Roveel Installation Instructions
