In addition to providing our Roveel Connector logs described here, you may be asked to provide an export of your System Events in order to help diagnose any Roveel service issues. This needs to be performed on the machine where our connector is installed.
- Open your Windows start menu and search for 'Event Viewer', open the utility.
- Inside the Event Viewer utility:
- In the left panel, expand 'Windows Logs'.
- Select 'System' from the list.
- In the right 'Actions' pane, click 'Save All Events As...':
- This will open a save modal, select a suitable local path to export the file to.
- Enter a file name such as 'system-events-export'.
- Save the file ensuring it's saved with an '.evtx' file extension.
- Provide this export file to the Roveel team member handling your support issue. You can safely delete this file after doing so.
Step 1. Open 'Event Viewer'.
Step 2. Select the 'System' logs.
Step 3. Export the events.
